After high school I joined the Air Force directly out of high school and trained as an aircraft electrician. After serving for 6 years I decided to try something different, and applied to West Virginia University.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in recreation, parks, and tourism resources, thinking I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps as a park ranger. I worked all over the west and in Alaska for various government agencies, which eventually brought me to Ennis. Over time I became less and less satisfied with federal red tape and bureaucracy . I craved a hard day’s work where I could see the results. One spring I went to a basic blacksmith course and knew I wanted to start working with metal. Soon after I attended the Welding Technology Program at Missoula College knowing that I wanted to work for myself.

Sean is a Montana native born and raised in Missoula. Out of high school Sean worked on a ranch in Deer Lodge for 5 years. Sean decided he wanted to change careers, that is how Sean and I met. He is meticulous in his work and has an understanding of ranch life and how best to meet their welding needs.

Sean graduated Missoula College’s Welding Technology program at the top of his class. He enjoys hunting, fishing, rock hounding, cold beer, and learning as much about metalwork as he can. If you see him around town say hi.
